What changed?
Version control moved from document level down to clause level. Only clauses valid at the time of the query enter the search space, which took citations of withdrawn documents to zero against a 100-question golden set.
Where does it apply?
It is applied by default on every retrieval build that handles frequently revised material such as policies and manuals.
